MMC is committed to the highest standards in safety. Our safety program is proven and effective – demonstrated by having one of the lowest EMR (Experienced Modification Rating) scores in the country. As a matter of everyday operations, we evaluate all risks at all levels, ensuring the safety of every single crew member. We also reinforce measures that matter by recognizing the safety achievements of all our employees. Providing a safe work environment for our employees and everyone on a job site is a responsibility MMC takes very seriously and compliance to safety policies is a condition of employment.

Our safety program complies with all federal, state and local regulations. We require all of our employees to remain current with annual training. Furthermore, by keeping our leadership team continually educated in all safety measures, we eliminate shortcuts and instill safe working habits as our culture. We also regularly schedule formal field and classroom training in all necessary safety standards – including topics such as fall protection, job safety analysis and crane lift plans. Our Safety Director is constantly training and following up with our management team through constant field interactions, interventions and mentoring to ensure that everyone on our projects understands, supports and enforces our safety philosophy and policies.
